1. Operator and acceptance

BidAKey is a QwertyKey campaign operated by QWERTY KEY SRL, CUI 44393084, Str. Oituz no. 3A, Baia Mare, Maramureș, Romania. Contact: contact@qwertykey.ro.

You must be at least 18 and authorised to represent the brand for which you bid. By submitting, you accept these Terms and confirm that you can lawfully use the uploaded artwork.

2. Limited-edition condition

The campaign has 82 spots — 81 keys and the strap — and closes on 14 September 2026 at 23:59. QwertyKey will produce the 100-keyboard limited edition only if every spot has a paid, approved, leading bid at the deadline.

The strap is included in the 82-spot production threshold.

If the threshold is not reached, the edition will not enter production, there are no final winners, and we initiate full refunds of eligible payments through Stripe. Depending on the card issuer, funds can take approximately 5–10 business days to reappear.

3. How bidding works

1. Every key and the strap are separate spots. A bid must meet the displayed minimum. For a claimed spot, the new minimum is the latest approved purchase price plus at least €10.
2. The highest approved bid leads. Equal valid bids are ordered by time received.
3. A spot is claimed only after payment confirmation and approval of the brand and artwork.

Rejected, cancelled, failed, refunded or still-unreviewed bids at the deadline cannot win and do not count toward the threshold. Submit early; we cannot guarantee review of a bid received very close to closing. Server status and pricing prevail over a stale browser page.

4. Payment and refunds

Stripe charges the full bid when it is placed. We initiate a full refund if the artwork is rejected, a higher approved bid overtakes it, or the campaign threshold is not reached. A leading bid cannot be withdrawn unilaterally.

A dispute, cancellation or payment reversal removes the bid from the ranking. Applicable taxes and fiscal documents are communicated during checkout or after the transaction.

5. Artwork and production

If the edition enters production, each winner's logo appears on the selected key or strap across all 100 units. The 3D preview is indicative. We may adjust size, contrast, strap colour, placement or files for legibility and production, and may request final vector artwork or proof of rights.

We reject unlawful, deceptive, sexually explicit, hateful, profane, dangerous or infringing content, and content harmful to QwertyKey. You retain ownership and grant us a non-exclusive right to adapt, manufacture, photograph, film and promote the artwork in connection with BidAKey and the limited edition.

6. Keyboard and retail sale

The edition is based on QK75HE, our Hall Effect and Rapid Trigger model. The 100 units will be offered separately for sale on qwertykey.ro and qwertykey.eu after production.

The bid purchases brand placement on a key or the strap; it does not automatically include a keyboard, category exclusivity, royalties or a share of sales. Product price, stock, delivery, warranty and retail terms will be published separately at launch.

7. Communications and results

We send operational emails about verification, payment, approval, outbidding, refunds and final results. We will include the limited edition in QwertyKey content. We do not guarantee an exact production date, sell-through, or an exact number of posts, impressions, views, clicks, leads or sales. Material changes will be communicated in writing.

8. Availability and liability

We may correct obvious errors, reject fraud or suspend a spot for technical, legal or production reasons. Written confirmation, Stripe records and server state prevail over an erroneous display. To the extent allowed by law, total liability relating to a bid does not exceed the amount paid for it. Romanian law applies without limiting mandatory consumer rights.

9. Privacy and intellectual property

Our Privacy Policy explains data processing. BidAKey, QwertyKey, the QK75 HE design, 3D model and campaign materials belong to QwertyKey or are used with permission. No licence to them is transferred to a bidder beyond mandatory legal rights.
